Activities

Botany- investigate the conditions required to grow plants from seeds. Learn about flowers. Examine pollen Plastic Recycling - What happens to plastic we send to recycling? Sort plastics by polymer type. Make your own plastic Pulleys and Levers - Make a machine to lift an adult. Investigate how pulleys work. Make a draw bridge to take home with you. Food Chemistry - Find out how much vinegar you need to neutralise bread soda. Melt Jelly using the minimum amount of energy. Prove there is energy in crisps. Make your own gadget to add Mentos to Coke.
